Senior Business Analyst

Krakow-based opportunity with the possibility to work 80% remotely!

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a prestigious financial institution known for its innovative approach to global banking. You will provide crucial support and consultancy to the Business Manager in financial and commercial activities, ensuring billing accuracy, inventory oversight, and monthly forecasting. You will also contribute to financial planning, unit rate setting, and senior management decision-making, fostering a high-performance culture through team collaboration and the adoption of best practices.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Providing support and consultancy in financial and commercial activities
  • Ensuring billing and recharge accuracy
  • Overseeing inventory data
  • Conducting monthly forecasting for Run the Bank and Change the Bank
  • Participating in financial AOP planning and ongoing updates
  • Contributing to the unit rate setting process
  • Raising TPS with the Procurement and Commercial Management Team and ensuring timely approvals
  • Collaborating closely with the team to foster a high-performance culture
  • Identifying and championing new, innovative, or improved best practices

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Experience with financial processes and tools
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision while meeting deadlines
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create impactful content for management meetings
  • Ability to build and maintain global relationships through communication and influence
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Demonstrated accountability and a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing activities, schedules, and workloads
  • A degree in Business or Financial Studies, or equivalent industry experience
  • Excellent analytical skills to understand and use metrics for drawing conclusions
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Hands-on experience with the client’s financial tools
  • Understanding of IBM z / IBM i products (hardware/software)
