As a Scrum Master, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution focused on transforming its digital landscape through innovative technology. In this role, you will guide and facilitate agile practices within a dynamic team dedicated to developing cutting-edge mobile and web applications. Your expertise will help streamline processes, foster team collaboration, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Leading and facilitating agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Coaching and mentoring the development team on Scrum practices and principles
  • Removing impediments and addressing conflicts to ensure smooth workflow
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and empowerment within the team
  • Ensuring transparency by managing and updating project documentation and information sources
  • Analyzing data to provide insights and drive effective decision-making
  • Supporting the team in achieving sprint goals and maintaining a high level of productivity
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to align on project objectives and priorities
  • Monitoring progress using various reporting standards and techniques
  • Proactively suggesting process improvements and implementing best practices

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • First level Scrum Master certification (PSM I, CSM)
  • At least one year of experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team
  • Experience working in mobile or web application development teams
  • Strong skills in servant leadership, facilitation, and conflict resolution
  • Knowledge of Scrum patterns, techniques, and intentional gaps in Scrum approaches
  • Ability to distinguish between Scrum practices and non-Scrum practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working across multiple business lines
  • Proficiency in managing and updating project documentation and process documents
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities
  • Good knowledge of Excel for data analysis and reporting

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience in portfolio management or portfolio governance
  • Understanding of reporting standards and budget management
  • Strong quantitative data reporting skills
  • Experience in creative problem-solving and issue resolution
