As a Scrum Master, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution focused on transforming its digital landscape through innovative technology. In this role, you will guide and facilitate agile practices within a dynamic team dedicated to developing cutting-edge mobile and web applications. Your expertise will help streamline processes, foster team collaboration, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Your main responsibilities:
- Leading and facilitating agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Coaching and mentoring the development team on Scrum practices and principles
- Removing impediments and addressing conflicts to ensure smooth workflow
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and empowerment within the team
- Ensuring transparency by managing and updating project documentation and information sources
- Analyzing data to provide insights and drive effective decision-making
- Supporting the team in achieving sprint goals and maintaining a high level of productivity
- Collaborating with stakeholders to align on project objectives and priorities
- Monitoring progress using various reporting standards and techniques
- Proactively suggesting process improvements and implementing best practices
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- First level Scrum Master certification (PSM I, CSM)
- At least one year of experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team
- Experience working in mobile or web application development teams
- Strong skills in servant leadership, facilitation, and conflict resolution
- Knowledge of Scrum patterns, techniques, and intentional gaps in Scrum approaches
- Ability to distinguish between Scrum practices and non-Scrum practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working across multiple business lines
- Proficiency in managing and updating project documentation and process documents
- Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities
- Good knowledge of Excel for data analysis and reporting
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience in portfolio management or portfolio governance
- Understanding of reporting standards and budget management
- Strong quantitative data reporting skills
- Experience in creative problem-solving and issue resolution
