As a DevOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading global service provider in the financial services industry. This project focuses on building, maintaining, and optimizing robust CI/CD pipelines to enhance software development and deployment processes. You will be automating deployment tasks, collaborating with development teams, and ensuring system stability and security. You will also have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, contribute to a dynamic SRE team, and support incident resolution in a fast-paced environment.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
  • Creating and maintaining automation scripts for application deployment using Ansible
  • Collaborating with software development and support teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment
  • Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues to ensure service stability
  • Documenting processes and changes for future reference
  • Staying updated with industry standards to optimize processes and ensure efficiency
  • Supporting afternoon shifts (14:00-22:00) for two weeks per month and two weekend shifts as required
  • Managing incidents and leading resolution efforts to exceed customer expectations
  • Ensuring security and stability of systems throughout all stages of deployment
  • Providing continuous feedback and improvement suggestions for system efficiency

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
  • Strong proficiency in Java
  • Extensive experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines
  • Advanced skills in automating deployments using Ansible
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Flexibility and adaptability to learn and support various technologies
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools and system performance analysis
  • Experience with incident management and resolution ownership

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience with Terraform
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform
  • Understanding of application security development and implementation, such as OAuth/OpenAM
