As a Data Quality Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading telecommunication company undergoing an extensive data warehouse transformation. The project involves building and enhancing a cloud-based data warehouse on the Snowflake platform, with a focus on ensuring high data quality standards. You will collaborate with a global team, using advanced technologies to design, implement, and monitor data flows, while also sharing your expertise with a local Scrum team. This role is critical to maintaining the integrity and efficiency of their data systems.

Your main responsibilities: Design and implement data monitoring and quality improvement processes

  • Develop data structures and data flows to optimize performance
  • Collaborate with the Scrum team to share knowledge and best practices
  • Ensure seamless integration of Snowflake database technology in cloud environments
  • Use Python and Airflow to automate data pipeline processes
  • Monitor and maintain data integrity using AWS services like S3, Kinesis, and Firehose
  • Work with GitLab for version control and continuous integration
  • Coordinate with teams both in Poland and internationally, communicating in English when required
  • Analyze and resolve data quality issues proactively
  • Support and enhance batch data processing using AWS Batch and Lambda

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Extensive experience in building cloud-based data warehouses
  • Advanced proficiency with Snowflake and SQL
  • Solid experience with Python and Airflow for data automation
  • Familiarity with AWS services like S3, Kinesis, Firehose, and Lambda
  • Strong experience with data quality frameworks and methodologies
  • Knowledge of GitLab for code management and CI/CD
  • Experience working in a Scrum or Agile environment
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in English and Polish
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills in data processing
  • A proactive approach to ensuring data accuracy and quality
