As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution that provides a range of banking and financial services across multiple regions. This project focuses on modernizing core banking systems and applications, with an emphasis on payment services and APIs. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting services and interfaces related to SEPA payments, SWIFT messages, and internal accounting. The team is driving improvements in service efficiency, system integration, and automation, using the latest technologies and DevOps practices.

Your main responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining back-end services using Java with Spring Boot
• Building and supporting front-end services with ReactJS for internal use
• Managing payment services hosted on both cloud and on-premises environments
• Designing, implementing, and supporting service-related APIs and microservices
• Collaborating with Business Analysts and Product Managers to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Utilizing automation testing frameworks to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Following Agile and DevOps methodologies, including tools like Jira and Confluence
• Managing code through Git, GitHub, and Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment
• Ensuring high Straight-Through Processing (STP) capabilities of payment services
• Reducing system complexity by integrating services through modern approaches such as MuleSoft and Kafka

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Proficiency in Java 8+ (Java 17 preferred)
• Experience with Spring/Spring Boot frameworks
• Strong understanding of SQL and database technologies, with Oracle as a preference
• Working knowledge of RESTful microservices and APIs
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, and other artifact management tools
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical implementations
• Experience in building cloud-hosted applications and services
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as ReactJS

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with automation testing frameworks
• Understanding of integration layers such as MuleSoft, Kafka, or WMB EAI/MQ
• Familiarity with payment systems such as SEPA and SWIFT
• Knowledge of cloud environments and cloud-native services
