As an IAM General Controls SME, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services, ensuring secure and effective access management. Your role is vital in supporting the organization’s cybersecurity efforts, ensuring that access to systems is properly managed, and enhancing the operational platform to support business growth. You will be a key player in minimizing risks through effective identity and access management (IAM) processes and controls.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Supporting the business in meeting IAM control outcomes for IT assets/services
  • Providing streamlined experiences for stakeholders across 3LOD for control management
  • Offering subject matter expertise on group control operations and managing residual risk
  • Executing against the design and operation of the IDAM Control Exceptions (ICE) process
  • Monitoring and managing operating effectiveness and residual risk of IT assets/services
  • Managing and implementing enhancements to control processes and tooling
  • Supporting business users with control tools, including troubleshooting and training
  • Continuously enhancing, streamlining, and automating processes
  • Supporting communications to stakeholders throughout

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Experience in cybersecurity and IAM controls, supporting IAM change initiatives
  • Proven experience in an Identity and Access Management Controls function
  • Ability to analyze data and produce detailed management MI
  • Strong data analytical skills for reviewing application feeds
  • Demonstrated experience of making timely and rational decisions
  • Strong process mapping skills
  • Proven accountability for deliverables and track record of on-schedule delivery
  • Ability to work with internal and external auditors and regulators
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Role-relevant qualifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA)

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Technical and architectural skills
  • Experience with control process and tooling enhancements
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to IAM
  • Ability to provide training and support to business users
  • Experience with IAM-related automation tools
  • Familiarity with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies
