Software Engineer – Oversee Encryption Infrastructure in a Global Environment!

Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model

As a Software Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading company in the manufacturing industry, responsible for overseeing existing manufacturing infrastructure related to PCBA production. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and supervising servers and devices involved in the encryption process. Your responsibilities will also include upgrading and deploying encryption infrastructure on new production lines. As part of the Process Engineering team, you’ll be the first line of response for troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Your main responsibilities: Manage Linux and Windows-based servers on-premises and in the cloud

• Troubleshoot existing scripts and programs, identifying problems in Python and C++
• Foresee potential problems and risks in the system, providing solutions or mitigation plans
• Collaborate with Product Development teams on both existing product evolution and new product development
• Work closely with the Product Department to strategize future PKI system expansion
• Troubleshoot networks and VPN connections
• Navigate and manage cloud-based systems like AWS and Azure
• Handle encryption infrastructure upgrades and deployment on production lines
• Occasionally travel domestically and internationally (up to 5%)

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• An Engineering Degree in Electronics or Computer Science
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in IT, automation, software, or electronics engineering
• Proficiency in IP Networking, computer systems, and databases
• Strong troubleshooting skills with experience in Python and C++
• Ability to identify risks and propose solutions for future improvements
• Strong communication and social skills to work with international teams
• Good command of English for communication and technical documentation
• A collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience working with AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of PKI system development
