As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and improving security scan processes, addressing vulnerabilities, and ensuring that applications meet strict compliance standards. You will work within a cross-functional, globally distributed team, collaborating on the design and development of security features and implementing best practices in DevSecOps to maintain high service performance.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing new services and features in Python
  • Translating business requirements into scalable, secure code solutions
  • Optimizing the performance of applications and services in designated areas
  • Conducting peer code reviews to ensure code quality and security standards
  • Maintaining and enhancing Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
  • Integrating third-party applications and services as needed
  • Managing Helm charts for application deployment and maintenance
  • Collaborating with architects to support the design of new features
  • Delivering changes using DevSecOps and ITIL change management processes

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Strong proficiency in Python, including FastAPI, async programming, SQLAlchemy, and Pytest, Pandas, Numpy, Airflow, Luigi
  • Intermediate SQL skills, especially with PostgreSQL
  • Experience applying design patterns effectively
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
  • Experience working in a DevSecOps environment
  • Solid understanding of change management processes
  • Strong Gitlab, Jira, and Confluence experience for project and code management
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end integration
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a globally distributed team

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins pipeline management
  • Knowledge of Flask, JS with React, Go Lang, Message Queues
  • Basic knowledge of message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ
  • Background in Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • Familiarity with microservices, Kubernetes, GCP, Docker, or Helm
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
  • Understanding of automated application security testing tools (e.g., SAST, DAST)
