As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be working for our client, an innovative global financial institution. You’ll play a key role in building and enhancing the IT Compliance Engine (ICE), a transparency platform that enables development teams and control owners to track and meet their software development compliance requirements. You’ll be instrumental in designing and developing both front- and back-end features, creating APIs, and working within a microservices architecture to deliver high-impact solutions that drive compliance visibility across the organization.
Your main responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with developers, testers, and stakeholders to build and optimize the ICE platform
- Design, develop, and implement new front-end and back-end features according to project priorities
- Build and maintain APIs and microservices to solve complex business problems
- Work directly with customers to troubleshoot issues and respond to feature requests
- Operate in an agile CI/CD environment to deliver continuous iterations with consistent quality
- Participate actively in team code reviews and test others’ code through automated test scripting
- Document technical requirements, processes, and implementation details for transparency and compliance
- Monitor application performance and contribute to the improvement of system reliability and scalability
- Contribute to the refinement of development standards and best practices within the team
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Strong experience in full-stack development with both back-end and front-end technologies
- Proficiency in Kotlin or Java, and experience with microservices architecture
- Proven expertise with RESTful APIs and experience building scalable, robust services
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and agile development methodologies
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to align on requirements and deliverables
- Experience in working within a cloud environment, preferably AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Solid understanding of version control tools such as Git and collaborative workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in producing maintainable code
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Previous experience with compliance or security-related projects
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and test-driven development (TDD)
- A background in financial services or a regulated industry
