Full Stack Automation Engineer

Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (6 days/month in the office)

As an Full Stack Automation Engineer you will be working for our client, a global financial institution undergoing a major transformation to enhance the automation and efficiency of its digital platforms. You will be contributing to the development and maintenance of automated solutions for complex, large-scale systems hosted both on-premises and in containerized environments. This project focuses on optimizing CI/CD pipelines, integrating test automation frameworks, and ensuring system stability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and may occasionally support weekend implementations and on-call activities.

Your main responsibilities: Designing and developing full-stack applications across various environments

  • Implementing automated testing frameworks to streamline CI/CD processes
  • Developing and optimizing backend services and REST or GraphQL APIs
  • Building responsive user interfaces using Vue.js and HTML
  • Integrating automated tests into DevOps pipelines
  • Enhancing system scalability and performance on-premises
  • Collaborating with infrastructure and DevOps teams to ensure service reliability
  • Maintaining code quality and documentation across deployments
  • Troubleshooting production issues and ensuring timely resolutions
  • Supporting weekend releases and participating in on-call schedules

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Proficiency in backend development using Java, SpringBoot, Spring Cloud, or Python
  • Experience with JavaScript and frontend technologies like Vue.js and HTML
  • Strong knowledge of automated testing tools like Selenium or JUnit
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
  • Expertise in Linux-based systems and Oracle database environments
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
  • Experience managing version control with Git
  • Strong troubleshooting and system optimization skills
  • Experience collaborating in Agile, cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to support planned weekend implementations and provide on-call support

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture
  • Familiarity with container orchestration, deployment, and lifecycle management
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code or automation tools like Ansible or Terraform
