Senior Product Security Engineer

This is a Wrocław-based hybrid opportunity – 3 days from home per week

As a Senior Product Security Engineer, you will be working for our client – a global leader in quantitative and systematic investment management. You will be responsible for safeguarding diverse tech systems across cloud, business apps, and core infrastructure.

Your main responsibilities: Implement security controls for trading infrastructure, cloud services, and business applications

• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into product design
• Develop and maintain a secure software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and security code reviews
• Mentor teams on security best practices and secure development processes
• Perform vendor security reviews to ensure compliance with standards
• Integrate security scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines for continuous monitoring

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 7+ years in product security with experience in securing software development
• Expertise in secure coding with Python, C++, Rust, Go, Kotlin/Java
• Strong background in software development, system architecture, and security tools
• Knowledge of security principles related to cloud platforms and business apps
• Experience with Windows and Linux systems, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud
• Skills in threat modeling, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies
• Experience with CI/CD security integration and vendor security reviews
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
