As a Senior Data Warehouse Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leader in providing innovative data solutions within the financial sector. You will play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing data models, ensuring seamless data integration, and supporting strategic decision-making. Your main responsibilities:
- Gather user requirements and translate them into comprehensive data content for data warehouses or reports.
- Define the target data model based on business needs and proposed changes.
- Identify source data and establish accurate source-target mappings.
- Develop and test prototypes within SQL frameworks to validate analytical areas.
- Support developers in implementing proposed changes and enhancements.
- Test and validate finalized solutions for quality and accuracy.
- Coordinate project activities to ensure smooth implementation of data modifications.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Over 5 years of experience working as a Data Warehouse Analyst or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in data modeling and process design for Data Warehouses.
- Very good knowledge of SQL (any technology stack).
- Strong understanding of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Experience working within the financial sector (a strong plus).
- Knowledge of Azure and Databricks technologies (a plus).
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Higher education in IT or related fields.
- Fluency in English at a minimum of B2 level for communication with external suppliers.
- Polish language proficiency at a native or professional level.
- Soft skills including analytical thinking, excellent organization, and a commitment to quality.
