As an Automation Engineer, you will be working for our client in Cybersecurity Technology, safeguarding critical functions and transactions worth billions of pounds.

Your main responsibilities:

• Supporting the delivery and operating Strategy
• Providing key expertise on all issues
• Implementing controls to ensure compliance with Data Security policies
• Collaborating to drive IT Strategy implementation
• Ensuring global adherence to information security requirements
• Drive engagement with all relevant regional and global stakeholders (Cybersecurity colleagues across Strategy and Architecture, Security Shared Services, Security Engineering and business and IT Functions)

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Formal education in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science
• Industry qualifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM)
• Understanding of Data Security fundamentals
• Cross-skilled in DLP products
• Operational knowledge of Windows and Linux platforms
• Full Stack development experience (Python essential), NodeJS, Java, Apache HTTP Server, IIS, NGINX, Tomcat, Database (Postgres, MSSQL, Sqllite, MongoDB)
• API usage/development skills (REST / WS)
• Solution implementation / design experience on distributed systems
• Agile methodology familiarity
• Additional knowledge of Jenkins, Git, GitHub, Nexus, Splunk
• Continuous service improvement skills
• Troubleshooting / problem resolution expertise
• Development/security testing experience
• Broad understanding of network, application, and cloud security controls
