Krakow-based opportunity with the possibility to work 95% remotely!

As an Automation Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution. This role requires a creative and driven individual to develop automation test engineering solutions for system and application components across various platforms, including on-premise and multiple cloud environments (e.g., GCP, AWS). Your primary responsibility will involve automating the creation, modification, execution, and analysis of software tests, alongside visualizing results for diverse stakeholders.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Automating creation, modification, execution, and analysis of software tests at all levels
  • Collaborating as a key contributor in Agile/Scrum teams
  • Creating clear test documentation from user stories and collaborating with stakeholders
  • Writing high-quality test code in Java and related technologies
  • Developing and maintaining coding and scripting for test framework and automation tools
  • Utilizing multiple testing frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Selenium, JMeter) across various testing activities
  • Configuring visualization tools like AppDynamics and Kibana for real-time test result display
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with peers, developers, architects, and product managers

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Strong experience in Selenium-based UI testing
  • Proficiency in API testing using frameworks like Restassured
  • Experience with Cucumber/Gherkin for driving BDD-based development
  • Knowledge of Java SpringBoot microservices development and testing
  • Familiarity with at least one major cloud service (GCP preferred, AWS acceptable)
  • Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with Redhat Linux
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience with Tosca for test automation
