As a Cybersecurity Full Stack Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global financial leader driving digital innovation and security at scale. You’ll join a cutting-edge cybersecurity function focused on safeguarding millions of users across the globe. The team is developing secure, scalable, and automated services that detect vulnerabilities and deliver continuous risk assessments across cloud, on-premise, and third-party systems. Working in a fast-paced, agile DevSecOps environment, you will collaborate with security experts to engineer tools and platforms that protect against modern threats while enabling the business to grow confidently and securely.
Your main responsibilities: Designing and building secure, scalable web services using Python and microservices
- Developing and maintaining data pipelines and ETL jobs for vulnerability insights
- Creating and managing CI/CD pipelines to streamline delivery and testing
- Deploying applications using Docker and Kubernetes in a cloud-native environment
- Collaborating with cybersecurity experts to automate threat detection workflows
- Integrating third-party security tools and APIs to enhance coverage and automation
- Supporting existing services through troubleshooting and resolving service desk issues
- Leading code reviews and supporting junior team members through best practices
- Writing comprehensive automated test cases across different testing levels
- Documenting technical components and participating in agile ceremonies
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Strong Python development experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django
- Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools like Airflow, Pandas, or Luigi
- Solid knowledge of microservice architectures, CQRS, and event sourcing
- Experience deploying applications with Docker and orchestrating them using Kubernetes
- Proficiency in creating CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, or similar tools
- Strong Linux sysadmin skills and foundational knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls
- Solid command of Git and familiarity with GitFlow or trunk-based strategies
- Experience with front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong SQL capabilities and the ability to write complex queries
- A test-driven mindset with experience in automated unit and integration testing
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with application security tools such as SAST, DAST, or penetration testing
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure, or AliCloud
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and monitoring tools like Prometheus
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as React and analytics platforms like Matomo
- Advanced experience with database architecture, performance tuning, and Mongo/Postgres
- Understanding of message queue systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Exposure to DevSecOps practices in highly regulated environments
- Experience working on security testing automation and vulnerability remediation
- UX/UI design experience in frontend-heavy platforms
- Familiarity with service mesh architectures and tools like Anthos
