Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer, you will contribute to the development of scalable, efficient data infrastructures and pipelines, empowering AI/ML models, analytics, and data-driven applications while enhancing data governance practices.

Your main responsibilities: 

• Design and implement scalable data processing infrastructures and ETL pipelines on Azure to support data-driven applications and AI/ML models
• Establish robust data governance practices to ensure data security, integrity, and availability across the platform
• Stay ahead of industry trends, proactively sharing insights to foster a culture of learning and innovation

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Azure cloud services, including Spark/Databricks
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with a proven track record of building and optimizing complex ETL/ELT processes in Data Lakehouse environments
• Experience in data mesh architecture is a plus, showcasing your ability to navigate decentralized data environments
• A passion for continuous learning and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders
