As a Data Processing Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading financial services firm renowned for its innovation and excellence in the industry. You will be part of a dynamic team that works closely with business units to deliver real-time, impactful data solutions that drive commercial value.

Your main responsibilities: Design and develop efficient, high-quality, and scalable ETL data pipelines

• Optimize SQL queries to improve performance and data retrieval
• Implement parallel computing and parallel processing techniques
• Collaborate with business units to understand data requirements and deliver impactful solutions
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across various platforms
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes and workflows
• Continuously improve data processing systems for better performance and scalability
• Adapt to and integrate new proprietary technologies as needed
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven experience in building scalable ETL data pipelines
• Strong understanding of parallel computing and parallel processing
• Expertise in SQL and query optimization
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn and apply proprietary technologies
• Experience working closely with business units to deliver data solutions
• Proficiency in ensuring data integrity and consistency
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues
• Commitment to maintaining high standards in data processing
