  • Documenting technical decisions and operational procedures clearly and effectively
  • Ensuring secure cloud infrastructure leveraging AWS best practices

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 2 years in DevOps/SRE
  • Proficiency in AWS services such as EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and Terraform
  • Strong knowledge of observability tools and practices including CloudWatch and AppDynamics
  • Experience in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Ability to write scripts in Python, Bash, or Groovy for automation tasks
  • Solid understanding of networking, Linux systems, and security in cloud environments
  • Familiarity with deployment strategies and rollback mechanisms
  • Proven track record of improving SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder collaboration abilities

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience with xMatters, ServiceNow, or incident management platforms
  • Knowledge of DORA metrics and how to improve them
  • Exposure to functional and non-functional testing within CI pipelines
  • Understanding of decision-making frameworks such as RAPID
  • Previous experience leading technical decisions and removing team roadblocks
  • Familiarity with synthetic and performance monitoring practices
  • Working knowledge of Java, Maven, and the broader JVM ecosystem
  • Experience tracking and reporting on OKRs or team goals
  • Background in disaster recovery planning and execution
  • Comfort working in a high-trust, autonomous team environment
