As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution undertaking innovative projects on advanced cloud-based environments. You’ll contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of robust, scalable applications, ensuring optimal performance and security in a dynamic team-oriented setting. You will play a vital role in building RESTful APIs and enhancing platform stability, leveraging your full-stack expertise to solve complex problems and deliver impactful solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining code using Java with Spring Boot on Google Cloud Platform
• Conducting design, code, and test plan reviews to ensure high standards
• Supporting teams with resolving design issues, debugging, and addressing post-development queries
• Participating in feasibility studies and analyzing requirements for new projects
• Designing high-level and low-level architectures and implementing solutions
• Writing and maintaining RESTful APIs for microservice architectures
• Enhancing platform performance and production stability
• Ensuring robust security practices around functionalities, services, and endpoints
• Collaborating with Agile and DevOps teams to deliver seamless CI/CD pipelines
• Optimizing database schema designs, especially with PostgreSQL

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong proficiency in Java 11+ and related frameworks
• Proven experience with RESTful APIs, RAML, and Core Java
• Hands-on expertise in JavaScript frameworks like React
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
• Solid knowledge of microservice architecture principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in creating test plans and debugging existing code
• Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies
• A self-motivated, enthusiastic attitude with rapid learning capability
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and collaboration skills

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Hands-on experience with Cloud HUB and Google Cloud Platform
• Advanced database design knowledge, particularly with PostgreSQL
• Prior involvement in platform improvement initiatives
• Experience in designing secure endpoints and functionalities
• Familiarity with SDLC best practices and design methodologies
