Full Stack Engineer

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services. You will be part of their Cybersecurity Assessment and Testing (CSAT) function, tasked with developing and maintaining critical software solutions that protect the organization’s digital infrastructure. Your role involves collaborating with cybersecurity experts to design, build, and optimize secure services, leveraging open-source technologies, and contributing to a secure, scalable, and efficient banking experience.

Your main responsibilities:

• Supporting and maintaining GoLang-based open-source software
• Designing and developing REST API services for internal use
• Collaborating with cybersecurity experts to refine and deliver software solutions
• Adhering to design patterns and proposing new technologies to enhance security
• Automating processes to improve software development efficiencies
• Ensuring operability by troubleshooting, debugging, and documenting services
• Developing automated test cases and conducting peer reviews
• Leading junior developers and contributing to team governance
• Building and deploying services using Docker, Kubernetes, and CICD pipelines
• Writing data pipelines using Python frameworks like FastAPI, Pandas, and Airflow

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Demonstrable experience with GoLang and open-source software
• Strong skills in debugging, root cause analysis, and writing technical documentation
• Proficiency in Python with frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django
• Experience in microservice architectures and related concepts like CQRS and SAGA
• Hands-on expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Git
• Strong Linux system administration and networking knowledge
• Solid SQL skills for constructing complex queries
• Familiarity with frontend development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience with agile and DevSecOps processes in regulated environments
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Cybersecurity experience, such as SAST, DAST, or penetration testing
• Expertise in deploying infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Advanced frontend development skills, particularly with React
• Database administration experience with relational and non-relational systems
• Knowledge of operational monitoring tools like Prometheus and service mesh tools like Anthos
