Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office).

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be working for our client, a renowned global financial institution. The company is at the forefront of transforming digital experiences, focusing on enhancing user interfaces, optimizing backend services, and ensuring security across platforms. Your role will involve developing and engineering software solutions, with a focus on high-quality code, data protection, and system resilience. You’ll be part of a dynamic team, collaborating on a variety of innovative and large-scale projects aimed at transforming the digital landscape and delivering exceptional user experiences.

Your main responsibilities: Designing and engineering software solutions with a strong focus on user experience

  • Contributing to the Technology Engineering Practice by sharing subject matter expertise
  • Driving adherence to standards and policies within the technology engineering area
  • Designing and developing front-end applications for internal and external users
  • Implementing security measures to protect internal and external systems and networks
  • Automating processes to minimize variation and ensure high-quality code delivery
  • Supporting the identification and resolution of incidents in the IT service
  • Ensuring service resilience, sustainability, and recovery time objectives are met
  • Keeping up-to-date with current tools, technologies, and cybersecurity regulations
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant controls, standards, and data privacy requirements

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Extensive experience with JAVA/Springboot and expertise in Kubernetes/Docker
  • Proficiency with HashiCorp Vault, CI/CD tools like GitHub, Jira, Jenkins, Maven
  • Strong knowledge of API design standards, patterns, and best practices (Swagger, OpenAPI 3.0)
  • Familiarity with authentication and authorization services using OAuth 2 and Kong API Gateway
  • Solid experience in Agile testing disciplines like TDD and Agile/Scrum development
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (AppDynamics, Splunk)
  • Expertise in Compute, Hypervisors, Storage, and operating systems like Linux and Windows
  • Understanding of cybersecurity and data privacy regulations
  • Ability to coach and mentor junior engineers while promoting innovation
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience in cloud technologies and microservices architectures
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
  • Experience with automation frameworks and container orchestration
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Ansible and Terraform
