Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office)
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution undergoing a large-scale digital transformation focused on enhancing customer-facing platforms and streamlining internal service management processes. You will contribute to the development of innovative web applications, ensuring system stability, scalability, and performance in a dynamic production environment. The role combines hands-on engineering with service management, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams to design and implement high-quality software solutions while providing reliable support to mission-critical systems.
Your main responsibilities: Designing and developing full stack web applications using modern frameworks
- Implementing scalable APIs and backend logic using C# and Web API
- Creating responsive UI components using JavaScript and frameworks like React or Angular
- Writing and optimizing SQL queries and managing database structures
- Participating in architectural discussions and applying best design patterns
- Developing application prototypes to test ideas and validate requirements
- Analyzing business needs and recommending technical solutions
- Managing changes through the service management lifecycle
- Automating and improving existing support and deployment processes
- Communicating with stakeholders to understand needs and provide effective solutions
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- 5+ years of professional experience in production application support
- Proficiency in C# and Web API development
- Strong database design and T-SQL skills with SQL Server
- Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies
- Experience with HTML5 and CSS
- Strong JavaScript skills using React or Angular 2+
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience using Git for version control
- English proficiency at B2 level or above
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience in automating service management processes
- Familiarity with service management frameworks such as ITIL
- Exposure to cloud platforms or containerization technologies
- Background in financial services or highly regulated environments
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
- Experience in creating clear and structured documentation
- Proven ability to handle critical incidents under pressure
