As a Full Stack Engineer (React + NodeJS), you will be working for our client, a major global financial institution, delivering and supporting internal web applications based on refined data. This role is integral to a large team, requiring a proactive, self-directed individual to manage end-to-end delivery. You will collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, data analysts, and developers, bringing data to life through intuitive, user-friendly interfaces. This is an opportunity to establish and drive high-quality coding standards while shaping the future of data visualization within the organization.
Your main responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing reusable software components for building internal web applications
- Developing highly usable user interfaces using React and HTML
- Designing and implementing APIs to publish data from the refinery
- Collaborating with UI/UX designers, data analysts, and GCP-BQ developers
- Introducing and maintaining high-quality coding standards across the project
- Ensuring the implementation of unit tests to validate code quality
- Managing the end-to-end delivery process of data visualization projects
- Working independently to ensure timely project completion
- Supporting continuous improvement efforts in web application development
- Implementing effective data visualization strategies for internal stakeholders
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer
- Excellent web user interface development experience with React and HTML
- Expertise in developing RESTful web services using Node.js
- Familiarity with code versioning tools, especially GIT
- Experience in implementing unit tests for code validation
- Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Fluent English
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Knowledge of Figma software for design collaboration
- Experience with SQL databases, preferably GCP BigQuery
- Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, and GCP Compute Engine
