Agile Project Manager (with Italian)

As an Agile Project Manager, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution focused on delivering digital consumer-facing projects. In this fast-paced role, you will drive the execution of strategic projects, resolving bottlenecks, and ensuring timely delivery of impactful solutions. Collaborating with a team of business analysts, UX designers, developers, and solution architects, you will manage all aspects of project plans, estimations, and stakeholder communication to deliver exceptional enterprise solutions.

Your main responsibilities: Working closely with the Delivery Team to drive project execution and delivery

  • Ensuring financial governance is in place and costs are fully managed and tracked for all teams, outcomes, and at an overall programme level
  • Establishing and maintaining formal and informal effective programme governance, including agile ceremonies, working groups, and other meetings
  • Supporting the maintenance and standard adherence of the delivery management and other programme management tools
  • Working with the central cyber-Portfolio PMO’s to ensure Programme Events do not clash with others and maintaining the cadence of planning and reporting
  • Preparing and presenting clear, accurate, and timely informal and formal programme reporting (status, progress, RAID)
  • Driving a proactive risk resolution mindset and supporting the identification and articulation of mitigation plans for issues
  • Providing additional support to help team members and leaders minimize execution risk and maintain clear and effective program oversight and governance

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • 4+ years of experience in banking or other financial services companies
  • Fluency in Italian
  • Extensive experience in IT implementation, technical project management, and agile methodologies
  • Proven hands-on team management skills with a collaborative leadership style
  • Full understanding of the web application/software development lifecycle, including UX design
  • Excellent presenting and negotiation skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive risk resolution mindset
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface across various stakeholder levels
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to progress initiatives
  • Proactive, confident, and takes responsibility and ownership for work and personal development

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Familiarity with commercial banking solutions
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on digital solutions
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Passion for delivering impactful solutions that add value to customers
  • Expertise in proposal writing and project estimation
