Warsaw based opportunity with possibility to work 2-3 days a week remotely
As a Business System Analyst you will be working for our client, a leading international financial institution undergoing a strategic transformation of its payment systems. You will join a high-impact project focused on replacing and modernizing the payment engine, ensuring seamless operations across payment platforms. In this role, you will work closely with senior stakeholders, to gather requirements, define solutions, and oversee changes to critical payment systems. You will play a key role in ensuring stability, scalability, and compliance in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Your main responsibilities: Analyze and gather business requirements for payment systems
- Translate requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and stakeholders to design and implement system changes
- Support the migration and modernization of the payment engine
- Document system processes, workflows, and integration points
- Participate in testing phases to validate functionality and compliance
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including C-level, to align requirements and expectations
- Ensure proposed changes meet regulatory and operational standards
- Provide support during system go-lives and troubleshoot issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement of payment systems and related processes
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- 3–5 years of experience as a Business/System Analyst in financial services
- Proven experience with payment systems such as SWIFT, Elixir, or Sorbnet
- Ability to work independently and manage requirements in complex projects
- Strong analytical skills with experience in documenting system specifications
- Background in system changes and migrations, ideally in payment engines
- Experience collaborating with demanding stakeholders, including C-level executives
- Knowledge of system integration and workflows in banking environments
- Familiarity with Agile project methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
