Warsaw-based opportunity with the possibility to work in hybrid model

As a C++ Developer, you will work for our client, one of the most powerful Investment Bank in the world. You will join their Core Engineering group and play a critical role in developing and maintaining high-performance, scalable solutions for our client’s Risk Remediation platform. You will be part of a collaborative team focused on building innovative solutions that drive efficiency and accuracy within their risk management framework.

Your main responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement complex C++ applications adhering to object-oriented design principles

• Collaborate with engineers and quants to understand risk management requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Integrate with and optimize existing systems leveraging distributed storage solutions like DB2, Oracle, Cassandra, or MongoDB
• Automate build and deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines (ideally with Git experience)
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure platform stability and performance
• Continuously learn and stay updated on the latest C++ development trends and best practices

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on C++
• Proficiency in object-oriented design principles and best practices
• Familiarity with distributed storage systems like DB2, Oracle, Cassandra, or MongoDB (experience with one or more is preferred)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally using Git
• Strong understanding of Unix/Linux systems and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Shell)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences
• A passion for building high-quality, efficient, and scalable software solutions
