As a Control Owner, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution, focused on managing key aspects of the Digital Identity platform. This platform is critical for verifying customer identities through a combination of document authentication and anti-impersonation checks. You will play a vital role in maintaining control systems and managing vendor relationships, ensuring the integrity of the identity validation process. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with global teams and vendors, driving risk management and control oversight in a fast-paced environment.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Ensuring full oversight of the Identity platform control
  • Creating, reviewing, and approving identity platform control documentation
  • Designing operational controls to ensure continuous monitoring of control effectiveness
  • Reviewing Risk and Control Assessments (RCAs) before loading into relevant systems
  • Managing third-party engagements for the identity platform
  • Owning the platform’s third-party management oversight and governance
  • Driving remediation efforts for issues related to Identity Platform Control
  • Providing senior managers with key metrics and visibility on the control environment
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure correct processes and control implementation
  • Engaging with Risk Stewards, Assurance teams, and internal audit when necessary

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Strong background in risk and control management or internal audit
  • Experience in implementing or managing global control frameworks
  • Ability to define and communicate a vision and strategy for control management
  • Skills to interpret complex data and present it in a simplified way
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills within a global environment
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience working with vendor relationships and third-party governance
  • Familiarity with complex, global IT infrastructures and control systems
  • Knowledge of advanced machine learning or AI techniques used by vendors
