Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (6 days/month in the office).

As a Data Standards Scrum Master you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution driving a large-scale transformation towards Agile and data-centric operations. You will be guiding cross-functional teams through the transition from traditional delivery models to Agile methodologies, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high-performance. The project focuses on evolving legacy systems and processes by aligning agile delivery practices with strategic product roadmaps, enabling sustained value delivery and organizational agility in a highly regulated, fast-paced environment.

Your main responsibilities: Managing alignment between team activities and overall program or release goals

  • Facilitating self-organizing agile pods and enabling continuous delivery
  • Leading agile ceremonies including retrospectives, reviews, and planning sessions
  • Shielding teams from external interruptions to maintain sprint focus
  • Removing delivery impediments by coordinating with management and support functions
  • Supporting Agile process implementation across complex, legacy systems
  • Coaching teams and stakeholders through Agile transformation and mindset shift
  • Empowering teams with motivational leadership and performance monitoring
  • Promoting a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • Enabling sustained adoption of Agile practices and alignment with organizational objectives

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Scrum Master or Agile delivery role
  • Proven track record working in financial services, preferably with data-driven change
  • Deep understanding of transitioning from Waterfall to Agile environments
  • Strong ability to apply Agile and Scrum practices to business change initiatives
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience working across and scaling multiple Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
  • Demonstrated success leading and motivating cross-functional Agile teams
  • Hands-on experience using Agile management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
  • Effective stakeholder and governance management in IT and business domains
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English for global team collaboration

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Over 5 years of Agile delivery experience (for more senior GCB 4 roles)
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PSM, SAFe Agilist or equivalent certification
  • Background in Design Thinking or Lean delivery principles
  • Active participation in Agile communities and continuous learning networks
  • Experience working in global, matrixed organizational structures
