As a Delphix Technical Product Specialist, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services, within a team dedicated to evolving test data management solutions. You will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the Delphix infrastructure, delivering database solutions to internal teams, and driving self-service capabilities for application developers and testers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on innovative DevOps practices and data management automation.

Your main responsibilities: Supporting and maintaining the Delphix infrastructure, including Linux and Windows servers

  • Following and creating internal processes, procedures, and related documentation
  • Building data virtualization and masking pipelines
  • Managing infrastructure capacity and monitoring resource utilization
  • Supporting internal customers and resolving their technical issues
  • Collaborating with vendor support and consultation services
  • Automating workflows using scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Adhering to strict change management processes
  • Ensuring infrastructure reliability through upgrades, patching, and evergreen practices
  • Providing occasional out-of-hours infrastructure support

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • An understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Extensive knowledge of at least one database technology (Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, Sybase, etc)
  • Experience with scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with infrastructure maintenance processes, including patching and upgrades
  • A collaborative approach and a customer-focused mindset
  • The ability to work in an agile work environment
  • Experience supporting database solutions and managing data structures and schemas
  • A willingness to work with strict change management protocols

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience with Delphix virtualization and masking
  • Knowledge of automation tools and best practices in DevOps
  • Familiarity with cloud-based database management
  • Expertise in capacity management and monitoring tools
  • Background in supporting financial or enterprise-scale applications
