Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 remote days/week)

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a prominent financial institution, supporting the Platform Management Team within the IT Application and Process Management Department. This role will focus on maintaining essential tools and processes, advancing monitoring tools (including custom Python solutions), and supporting both development and production environments. This is a dynamic opportunity to impact critical systems and collaborate with a team dedicated to operational excellence and continuous improvement in a complex, high-availability environment.

Your main responsibilities: Maintain and optimize assigned tools and processes within the team

  • Develop and enhance monitoring tools, including custom solutions in Python
  • Support development and production environments, ensuring seamless operation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve system and infrastructure issues
  • Automate and streamline existing processes using Ansible and other relevant tools
  • Manage and secure Redis and HashiCorp Vault within the infrastructure
  • Implement and improve deployment pipelines to increase delivery efficiency
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements based on data analysis
  • Document processes and solutions to ensure knowledge-sharing and reliability
  • Provide on-call support as necessary to maintain service continuity

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • 3+ years of experience in enterprise-level DevOps or infrastructure environments
  • Strong knowledge of Redis, HashiCorp Vault, Python, Linux, and Ansible
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Grafana and Elastic Stack
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Kubernetes)
  • Experience with Kafka
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across development and production environments
  • Experience in performance monitoring and optimization
  • Effective collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Ability to create and maintain detailed technical documentation
