As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution, on a project designed to streamline and optimize CI/CD automation processes. You will be collaborating with technical subject matter experts (SMEs) and DevSecOps engineers to create re-usable patterns and improve delivery efficiency. The role focuses on identifying and automating key operational processes, such as patching, code scanning, and vulnerability management, ensuring robust and secure delivery across various teams.
Your main responsibilities:
- Leading the engineering of reusable automation pipelines for DevSecOps processes
- Engaging with SMEs and engineers to identify areas for process optimization
- Collaborating with teams to implement CI/CD pipeline automation
- Analyzing end-to-end technical delivery processes and proposing improvements
- Leading experiments to build and test optimization patterns
- Providing technical support during the rollout of new automation patterns
- Writing and maintaining detailed design and governance documentation for patterns
- Contributing to roadmaps and delivery plans to ensure smooth implementation
- Implementing automated metrics to track and report on pattern adoption
- Ensuring best practices in security scanning, code deployment, and vulnerability management
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Extensive experience in DevSecOps engineering, including building and automating CI/CD pipelines
- Proven ability to script or develop application code for automation
- Strong expertise with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Github, and Nexus
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, primarily Terraform
- Familiarity with code scanning tools such as Checkmarx, Aquasec, and SonarQube
- Solid understanding of Identity and Access Management tools like Active Directory and HashiCorp Vault
- Knowledge of certificate management solutions such as Venafi
- Experience working with key infrastructure technologies, including Linux, Windows, and cloud platforms
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
