As a Full Stack Developer, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services with a focus on innovative technology solutions. You’ll be part of a skilled team enhancing the IRIS application, a key regulatory platform supporting Fixed Income products. Your role will involve developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end code, closely collaborating with stakeholders, and contributing to the growth of a streamlined, responsive application. This is an exciting opportunity to engage in projects involving the latest in front-end tech and back-end integration within a highly dynamic industry.
Your main responsibilities:
- Developing robust front-end and back-end code for IRIS in line with industry standards
- Supporting new requirements and resolving bugs, ensuring quality and reliability
- Consulting with business stakeholders to align technical solutions with their needs
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to map requirements and manage delivery timelines
- Performing code reviews, troubleshooting, and mentoring other developers
- Utilizing and improving monitoring tools such as Grafana, Kibana, and Prometheus
- Implementing automation through DevOps and CI/CD pipelines like TeamCity and Jenkins
- Conducting research on best practices in tech and business processes to support stakeholders
- Providing risk assessment and mitigation strategies to support project delivery
- Offering application support for U.S.-based Sales during specified hours
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 5 years of Java development experience as both a contributor and team leader
- Proficiency in Spring, Spring Boot, microservices, and ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
- Experience with modern UI frameworks like React or Angular
- Familiarity with message-driven architecture (JMS, IBM MQ, Artemis, Solace)
- Hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD tools (TeamCity, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence)
- Knowledge of monitoring and analytics tools such as Grafana and Kibana
- Strong skills in Git and sophisticated knowledge of version control
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
- Proven experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environments
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Hands-on experience with RDBMS (e.g., Oracle) or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
- Background in Fixed Income cash and derivative products
- Understanding of trade lifecycle, Straight Through Processing (STP), and regulatory reporting
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, microservices, and micro-frontends
- In-depth knowledge of end-to-end testing frameworks and unit testing practices
