Krakow-based opportunity with the possibility to work up to 100% remotely

As a HashiCorp Vault Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global leader in the financial industry, specifically in the Identity and Access Management Technology sector. You will play a crucial role in the client’s ongoing transformation of its Identity and Access Management practices, focusing on Secrets Management solutions.

Your main responsibilities: defining and delivering solutions for HashiCorp Vault consumers

  • Contributing to the client’s Secret Management 5-year strategy program
  • Designing and delivering a solution for HashiCorp Vault access from the DMZ
  • Maturing the usage and practices around HashiCorp Vault to a high standard
  • Providing consultation to consumers to guide them towards industry best solutions
  • Involvement in the design, build, and support of client’s global Privileged Access Management services
  • Taking ownership of root-cause-analysis for major or repeat incidents
  • Seeking ways to automate and integrate self-service into processes
  • Representing IAM externally to manage the quality of service delivered
  • Maintaining a strong and proactive relationship with PAM vendors
  • Taking the lead on projects and initiatives when required
  • Assuming responsibility for audit and compliance requests when needed

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • 2+ years of experience with HashiCorp Vault and HashiCorp Terraform Enterprise, including deploying, designing, and maintaining
  • Experience in documenting solution architecture proposals for complex Secret Management use cases
  • Proficiency in at least one programming or coding language and code management tools (e.g., Github)
  • Experience with DevOps practices in a large enterprise, preferably using Terraform for automation
  • Skills in one or more of the following: Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes, and Github
  • Experience with another Privileged Access Management tool (e.g., TPAM, Cyberark, Centrify/Delinea)
  • A strong understanding of Privileged Access Management and Secrets Management concepts
  • Knowledge of technologies deployed at a large scale in a global IT enterprise
  • Experience working in an Agile team, managing workload in Jira and engagements in Jira Service Desk
  • Experience in roles such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, or project/task leadership

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience with the UNIX operating system, including support, maintenance, patching, and building
  • Ability to adapt and understand new technologies and being self-motivated to learn
  • The ability to interact appropriately with users of various technical skill levels
  • Experience working in a multi-country, culturally diverse, and time-zone separated role
