Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office)

As an IT Service Owner Delegate, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution undertaking complex transformation initiatives to ensure the reliability, scalability, and compliance of critical IT services. You will be supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of applications and services, ensuring stability across development, testing, production, and contingency environments. The role is focusing on service continuity, governance, proactive planning, and stakeholder management. You will be collaborating with technical teams, risk and compliance functions, and business stakeholders to continuously improve service performance and ensure alignment with regulatory and organizational standards.

Your main responsibilities: Maintaining effective control of end-to-end applications and services

  • Ensuring continuous improvement and stability of IT services
  • Adhering to governance processes and IT controls
  • Planning service requirements including evergreening and capacity upgrades
  • Acting as an escalation point for stakeholders and service-related requests
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across functions and technology teams
  • Delegating tasks to POD members and consolidating information for responses
  • Reviewing service and application inventories to ensure accuracy
  • Communicating service benefits and performance to the business
  • Supporting compliance with information security and regulatory requirements

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in IT Service Management, Infrastructure, Software Support, or Project Management
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL methodologies, especially SLM, Service Continuity, Information Security, Change, Incident & Problem Management
  • Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with adaptability to different tasks
  • Team-oriented mindset and flexibility in fast-changing environments
  • Good knowledge of IT technologies and operational environments
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Experience working with governance, risk, and control processes
  • Ability to manage escalations and resolve service-related issues effectively
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Knowledge of Windows, Linux, or databases such as Oracle
  • Experience working in large financial institutions or regulated industries
  • Familiarity with cyber security frameworks and best practices
  • Prior exposure to vendor and third-party management
