As a Java Backend Developer, you will be working for our client, a dynamic software company specializing in cutting-edge solutions for energy trading. The client is at the forefront of developing software modules in energy trading, meticulously considering regulatory requirements.

Your main responsibilities: Designing and developing robust software modules using Java 17

• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate backend components seamlessly
• Managing databases
• Optimizing data storage and retrieval

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 10+ years of experience in similar role
• Proven expertise in Java backend development, with a strong grasp of Java 17
• Experience with Oracle, MSSQL, and Postgres databases
• Proficiency in Visual Studio Code for efficient coding
• Prior experience with pipeline, automation testing, and deploying using Bitbucket
• Familiarity with Java frontend development is a plus
• Full stack development experience is highly valued
• Knowledge of energy trading, particularly in ETRM systems, is advantageous
