As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services, dedicated to driving innovation through cutting-edge cloud solutions. You will play a key role in implementing CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with central teams to integrate Compliance requirements, and ensuring that best practices are shared across development teams. Your contributions will be crucial in automating and optimizing operations on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) while supporting the overall cloud architecture.

Your main responsibilities: Implementing CI/CD pipeline Compliance use cases on GCP

• Collaborating with central teams to ensure Compliance requirements are integrated into the cloud architecture
• Sharing best practices with other development teams working on GCP use cases
• Implementing DevOps and Automation tools on GCP according to system requirements
• Writing and maintaining Python or shell scripts for automation purposes
• Utilizing tools like Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment
• Managing infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Saltstack
• Ensuring smooth operation of the cloud environment by monitoring and optimizing performance
• Documenting processes and procedures in Confluence and JIRA
• Working as part of an agile team across multiple regions

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and services, preferably GCP
• Proficiency in Python or shell scripting and Spark
• Deep understanding of DevOps principles and tools like CI/CD, Jenkins, and GitHub/Bitbucket
• Expertise in automation toolsets such as Terraform, Ansible, or Saltstack
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex ideas clearly
• Ability to work effectively in an agile team environment
• Experience working with teams across multiple countries or regions
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to take ownership of tasks

It is a strong plus if you have:

• GCP certification
• Experience with data transformation tools like SQL or similar products
