As a Junior DevOps, you join the project that emerged during the pandemic as a quick solution to sending out mass communication to COVID loan customers. Right now it is responsible for updating government-managed institutions with data regarding government-backed loans.
Your key Responsibilities: Ad hoc changing pipeline code (CI/CD, Jenkins, Cloudbees, Bash, Groovy)
- Supporting BAU application (alert monitoring, cloud log investigation, Kubernetes commands), during office hours
- Continuous process/automation improvement
- Creating and maintaining a Knowledge Base of support procedures and incident resolutions
- Creating Change Requests
The ideal candidate has:
- Knowledge of one or more scripting languages, preferably Bash and/or Groovy
- SQL and basic database administration skills
- User knowledge and experience in Git
- Hands-on knowledge of web application architecture
- Attitude to learn, gather information, and present conclusions to a diverse team
- Willingness to take initiative and work independently when required
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with Java/Spring
- Docker/Kubernetes familiarity
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or any other cloud platform
- Jenkins/CloudBees experience
- ServiceNow or any other ITSM tool familiarity
