Warsaw-based opportunity to work remotely

As a Junior Tax Specialist, you will work with our client, one of the largest private bank in the world. You will play a crucial role in managing and processing withholding tax (WHT) reclaim applications, contributing to the seamless handling of tax-related activities for our clients worldwide.

Your main responsibilities: Reconcile, process, and submit WHT tax reclaim applications resulting from dividend and interest distributions to tax authorities globally

• Resolve queries raised by tax authorities and/or our clients, ensuring timely and accurate communication
• Support the onboarding process for new clients and assist in the integration of new processes
• Assist in the preparation of special reports and participate in ad-hoc projects as needed
• Prepare documentation necessary for the tax reclaim process, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and compliant
• Build a secure environment to test new solutions and encourage innovative thinking
• Continuously challenge existing processes to identify and mitigate risks, improving overall efficiency

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Graduated university (Financial faculties are a strong plus)
• Past experience in Tax Related field is strong plus
• Fluency in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in computer literacy, including familiarity with standard office software
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage work efficiently and meet deadlines
• Strong creativity, innovation, and problem-solving abilities
• A willingness to develop new skills and learn quickly
