As a Mobile Test Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial services provider renowned for leveraging innovative technologies to enhance digital experiences. The client’s mission is to elevate its mobile platform, delivering high-quality applications that impact millions of users worldwide. You will be joining a dynamic team focused on improving mobile app functionality and performance, ensuring top-notch quality through rigorous testing practices in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with a Scrum development team to ensure mobile platform quality and functionality of mobile platform solutions for both iOS and Android
• Design, develop, and execute test plans and cases for manual and automated testing
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing on mobile applications
• Identify, document, and manage defects, working with developers for swift resolution
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies, providing insights and updates on testing progress
• Review user stories and acceptance criteria for clarity, completeness, and testability
• Continuously improve testing processes, adopting best practices and new technologies
• Conduct usability testing to ensure a seamless user experience across devices
• Stay updated with mobile testing trends and tools for cutting-edge practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on project goals and deliverables

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven experience as a Mobile QA Tester with a focus on iOS and Android
• Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks like Appium, Selenium, or similar
• Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Scrum team experience
• Strong knowledge of mobile operating systems, devices, and best practices
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA
• Keen eye for detail and a passion for high-quality mobile applications

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices for automated testing
• Knowledge of programming languages for test automation like Java or Python
• Familiarity with performance and security testing tools specific to mobile platforms
• Understanding of mobile app publishing processes and guidelines
• Experience with additional programming languages or scripting for automation
• Knowledge of advanced testing techniques and tools
