As an Oracle Developer, you will be a part of the team that drives innovation, enabling money movement for financial institutions and millions of people and businesses worldwide. Your main responsibilities: Participate in a project related to migrating data from external systems to our Client’s systems
- Data Migration: This involves understanding data structures, transforming data, and ensuring successful data loading.
- Data Loading Tools: Prepare data loading tools (such as flat files) to facilitate data migration. These tools should efficiently handle large volumes of data and ensure data integrity during the migration process.
- Support for QA Testing: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team during migration tests. Address any issues related to data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Code Implementation and Unit Testing: Implement changes to existing functionality using PL/SQL code. Write unit tests for software components to verify correctness and reliability.
- Performance Analysis and Tuning: Monitor the production system’s performance, analyze performance metrics, and fine-tune PL/SQL code for optimal execution. This includes identifying slow queries, optimizing indexes, and improving overall system performance.
- Progress Reporting: Regularly report progress to project managers and team leads. Transparency and effective communication are essential for successful project execution.
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum 4 years of experience as an Oracle Developer
- Excellent Knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle Development Tools
- Experience in optimizing PL/SQL and SQL code for performance and scalability is crucial
- Familiarity with version control systems (such as Git) and change management processes
- Experience in documenting your code, design decisions, and system architecture
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions (this includes past experienece in debugging complex code and addressing performance-related challenges)
- Fluency in Polish and English
- Effective communication skills essential for collaborating with team members and business stakeholders
