Product Control Business Analyst

Krakow-based opportunity with the possibility to work 70% remotely!

As a Product Control Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading financial services organization, on a transformative project to enhance their Product Control function. This project focuses on organizational change, process improvement, and the integration of advanced technology to support Product Control operations. You will collaborate closely with Product Control, Finance Change, and IT teams to ensure successful project delivery and effective communication of status and requirements.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Producing high-quality project analysis and documentation aligned with the Change Framework
  • Working with local product control teams to assess and document the impact of change requirements
  • Leading the business side of system testing to ensure adequate Finance requirements coverage
  • Coordinating Finance elements of User Acceptance Tests
  • Ensuring the completion of assigned tasks within agreed timelines and plans
  • Liaising with Finance, Product Control, and IT teams to confirm requirements and facilitate delivery
  • Documenting requirements with user sign-off and ensuring clear communication with stakeholders
  • Assisting in designing and testing solutions to meet confirmed requirements
  • Providing written business project documentation to a high standard
  • Supporting the project by documenting processes for seamless handover to the line

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Prior working knowledge of Global Banking and Markets, particularly in Valuations control
  • Strong knowledge of Global Market Products
  • At least two years of project delivery experience
  • Understanding of Project Lifecycle, preferably with a qualification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Access
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and contribute to a team
  • Self-motivation and rapid learning capability in a changing environment
  • Delivery-focused attitude with attention to detail and high standards of quality
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
  • Qualified accountant designation
  • Experience with change management and process improvement initiatives
  • Familiarity with finance-related IT systems and software
  • Knowledge of financial regulatory standards and policies
  • Experience in data analysis and process mapping
  • Ability to manage multiple streams of work under tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to document work clearly
  • Experience in liaising with geographically dispersed teams
  • Understanding of internal controls and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated potential for increasing responsibilities within a project
