As a Project Manager, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution, on a major Operational Resilience project. The goal of this initiative is to strengthen and assess infrastructure components within service chains, enhancing their resilience to ensure uninterrupted service for critical business functions. You will lead efforts to transition this project into Business as Usual (BAU), working closely with stakeholders to define scope, manage risks, and create a sustainable operating model. This role requires strong communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to navigate complex infrastructure projects in a dynamic environment.
Your main responsibilities:
- Managing stakeholder relationships and fostering productive communication
- Defining project scope and setting clear expectations for deliverables
- Developing a Target Operating Model to support project objectives
- Coordinating the project’s transition into Business as Usual (BAU)
- Embedding ongoing support mechanisms to sustain resilience initiatives
- Overseeing risk and issue management for project continuity
- Tracking dependencies to ensure seamless project execution
- Working with cross-functional teams to align on project requirements and timelines
- Leveraging data insights to identify and address project vulnerabilities
- Ensuring documentation aligns with project goals and regulatory standards
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Proven project management experience within large, complex projects
- Demonstrated experience in change and implementation management
- Exceptional communication skills tailored to different audiences
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Track record of meeting deadlines with a delivery-focused mindset
- Autonomy, initiative, and a rapid learning ability in new projects
- Solid time management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Jira and Confluence for project tracking and collaboration
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Knowledge of infrastructure projects or similar large-scale technical initiatives
- Background in operational resilience within financial services
- Formal qualification in project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP)
