Lead Exciting Projects and Join the Team at One of the Biggest Polish Banks!

Warsaw-based opportunity with remote work model (2 days in the office/month)

As a Project Manager, you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking, on critical security projects within a complex organizational structure. You will play a key role in managing project lifecycles, ensuring alignment with internal project management frameworks, and overseeing risk, resource, and stakeholder management. This role requires a proactive leader who excels at communication, strategic planning, and delivering results in a dynamic environment.

Your main responsibilities: Substantive evaluation of specifications, drawing conclusions, and proposing changes

  • Leading a security project in a large organization with a complex structure
  • Conducting the project in accordance with internal project management frameworks
  • Preparing and managing the project plan, as well as monitoring project progress
  • Managing risks, changes, resources, stakeholders, and suppliers within the project
  • Managing the project team and coordinating team tasks
  • Ensuring effective communication within the project team, organizing, conducting, and moderating project status meetings
  • Preparing presentations and status reports showing project progress
  • Overseeing project documentation and managing project quality
  • Creating project documentation

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in implementing IT or security projects
  • Experience in the financial sector is a plus (including at least 2 years in team leader or project manager roles)
  • Willingness to develop in the field of security
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
  • Very good command of English, both spoken and written
  • Higher education (preferred fields of study: computer science, management, economics, finance, and banking)
  • Analytical skills and the ability to solve problems quickly and independently, even under time pressure
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Commitment to projects and responsibility for assigned tasks
  • Stress resistance

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience in managing IT, security, or regulatory compliance projects
  • Experience working with a large number of stakeholders
