Senior API & Manual Tester – Financial Technology

Lodz-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2-3 days in the office/month).

As a Senior Manual Tester, you will be working for our client, a leader in online banking, focused on testing a critical BPMS platform supporting essential business processes. Your expertise will ensure the delivery of reliable, secure, and high-quality solutions that enable seamless banking experiences and drive organizational innovation.

Your main responsibilities:

• Plan and execute manual testing activities across various software development stages, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
• Design and maintain detailed test scenarios, cases, and test data aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end testing to validate system robustness.
• Conduct extensive API testing and verify system integrations to guarantee seamless data exchanges.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and provide clear, actionable reports to development teams.
• Investigate issues collaboratively with developers and analysts to identify root causes and resolve defects efficiently.
• Verify fixes through regression testing and ensure overall system stability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by refining testing processes, standards, and practices.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in manual software testing.
• Strong expertise in API testing, with tools such as Postman or similar.
• Hands-on experience testing web applications and complex business processes.
• Practical knowledge of AI-powered testing tools like Claude or Codex for analysis and process enhancement.
• Broad understanding of different testing types, including functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end.
• Ability to independently plan, organize, and execute testing activities.
• Strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and business teams.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Willingness to expand into test automation and automation frameworks over time.

Language required for the role:

• Polish: good command
• English: communicative level
