As a Senior AWS Python Developer – DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure, you will be working for our client, a leader in global cloud services. You will play a pivotal role in supporting a broad spectrum of AWS workloads, advancing their "Cloud First" strategy, and driving secure, automated cloud solutions across diverse project teams worldwide. Your main responsibilities:

• Lead major incident investigations and provide on-call support to ensure continuous service availability
• Collaborate with application teams to deploy their applications on AWS, ensuring best practices and security compliance
• Develop automation solutions using Python and write Terraform scripts for infrastructure provisioning
• Enhance security controls and develop compliance dashboards to meet regulatory standards
• Provide 24/7 global support and coverage on a rotational basis
• Manage cloud infrastructure projects alongside junior team members, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to standards

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles
• Proficiency in Python programming and extensive experience with AWS services
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Ansible
• Broad knowledge of AWS cloud services and strong understanding of security principles
• Practical experience with Linux and/or Windows operating systems
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Proven success in enterprise infrastructure delivery and automation

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with Terraform
• Knowledge of non-functional testing methodologies
• Understanding of risk management and regulatory compliance in highly regulated industries

Language Required for the role:
Good command of English (Communicative level)
