As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution, responsible for data ingestion, refinement, and presentation within a cloud data platform.

Your main responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, testing, coding, and deploying data solutions
• Operating and iterating a cloud data platform to meet internal goals
• Prioritizing quality, time, and budget constraints
• Efficiently communicating within the team and with business stakeholders
• Collaborating with global diverse teams in an Agile product-oriented culture

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Experience in data engineering, ETL, and streaming
• Proficiency in data modeling and making trade-offs for schema design
• Expertise in implementing automated data quality solutions
• Proficiency in Git, Maven, Shell scripting, and Python
• Familiarity with orchestration, scheduling, and DevOps principles
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices
• Experience building or operating a cloud data platform
• Understanding of data architecture and willingness to learn new technologies
• Proactive mindset with leadership abilities for driving improvement initiatives
• Comfortability in rapidly changing and ambiguous environments
• Aptitude to collaborate with technical staff and project managers for efficient delivery
