As a Senior Data Modeller, you will be working for our client, a leading organization in data solutions, dedicated to transforming complex data into actionable analytics. Your expertise in designing robust data models will support their analytical platform and drive impactful decision-making, contributing to innovative data strategies and enterprise growth.
Your main responsibilities:
- Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to meet business, operational, and analytical requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and business analysts to translate requirements into efficient data modelling solutions.
- Work closely with data architects and data engineers to ensure data structures facilitate high-quality data products.
- Participate in architecture discussions to align with data design standards and best practices.
- Stay current with emerging data technologies, trends, and industry developments to continuously improve processes and automation.
- Assist in ensuring data quality, integrity, and adherence to governance principles through design and review.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 5 years of experience in data modelling for operational and analytical systems.
- Strong proficiency in Data Vault 2.0, Star Schema, and 3NF modelling techniques.
- Hands-on experience with data profiling and analysis on relational and hierarchical data formats (e.g., JSON, XML).
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of data governance, data quality standards, and data protection measures.
It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)
- Experience with cloud data solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Python scripting skills.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
- Knowledge of banking industry models and enterprise data standards (e.g., BIAN, FSDM, FIBO, SWIFT).

- English – Communicative proficiency.
