Senior FX Business Analyst – Financial Markets

As a Senior FX Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leader in the financial markets industry specializing in Foreign Exchange (FX) products. You will play a pivotal role in designing and developing BI solutions that support trading activities, enhance financial performance analysis, and optimize decision-making within the FX domain. Your main responsibilities:

• Design and develop BI solutions to support FX trading activities and financial performance analysis.
• Define business metrics, calculation methodologies, and analyze FX financial outcomes.
• Analyze data to identify dependencies and optimize trading and sales metrics such as PnL, margin, hit ratio, internalization, and volume.
• Collaborate with business teams to gather analytics and reporting requirements for dashboards, reports, and data layers.
• Support implementation, testing, and validation of BI solutions to ensure accuracy and performance.
• Decompose FX financial results, providing actionable insights for business growth and process improvement.
• Identify analytical needs and improve reporting frameworks for an efficient trading environment.
• Communicate technical and business insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Financial Markets, with strong expertise in FX products (Spot, Forward, Swap).
• Deep knowledge of FX trading processes, transaction lifecycle, and front-office activities.
• Proven ability to analyze and decompose financial results and identify business dependencies.
• Strong skills in data analysis, metric definition, and reporting design.
• Experience in defining and analyzing trading and sales KPIs such as PnL, margin, and volume.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Knowledge of data visualization tools and BI platforms.
• Certifications or additional training in financial analysis or data management.

Language required for the role:

• Fluent English and Polish.
