Krakow-based opportunity with a hybrid work model (2 days per week in the office).
As a Senior GCP Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leader in financial services, delivering cutting-edge cloud solutions that empower agility and security. Join an agile team dedicated to building highly resilient, scalable, and high-performance GCP infrastructure that shapes the future of financial technology and operational excellence.
Your main responsibilities:
- Build and manage the GCP foundation platform enabling seamless application deployment.
- Engineer solutions on GCP using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) to ensure scalability and automation.
- Integrate, configure, and manage central cloud services such as IAM, networking, logging, and containers.
- Administer and optimize SDN in GCP, including VPCs and networking configurations.
- Maintain compliance with security standards, operational risk policies, and industry regulations.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, perform patch management, and implement non-functional testing activities.
- Document operational procedures and assist with impact assessments for platform changes.
- Provide out-of-hours support on a rotational basis, ensuring 24x7 availability.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 5 years of experience building services within cloud providers, especially GCP.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD tools.
- Expertise in configuring SDN within a cloud environment.
- Solid knowledge of physical networking, security (IAM, OAuth), and cloud compliance.
- Proficiency in Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, Go, Groovy, or Scala.
- Demonstrable Linux administration and scripting skills (preferably Red Hat).
- Experience working in Agile teams and automation scripting using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Deep understanding of risk management and compliance in regulated industries.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- GCP Certifications (preferably professional level).
- Linux or Windows Server certifications.
- Experience in highly regulated environments, such as financial services.

- Fluent English.
